What is a story session?
Story Sessions are based in play and connection, focusing on movement, capturing tiny details, and evoking emotions. They're an experience that's tailored to you, designed to be fun, and reflect who you are as individuals, a couple, or a family.
What to expect in your session
Typically, we'll spend an hour together, during which you can do what you normally do - whether it's making pancakes, music, or just hanging out - and I'll take photos. Everyday has a new story to unfold, a story that you'll love to look back on to relieve the memories.

I'll totally be there for the "big" moments,
but when you look back, they're all big moments:
hanging out with grandparents
planting or harvesting your garden
first day of school
dressing up in costumes
preparing a meal
bonfire and s'mores
bedtime routine with kiddos
playing music with friends
game night
walking through the city...
...you decide & I'll capture it.
The first step is filling out the contact form and sharing about your family and children (or future child, if pregnant!).
If we are a fit, I will send you a contract and we will set up a date for the session. I am available to shoot sessions during the week, but have limited availability on the weekend.
A retainer is required to hold your session and date. The remaining amount is due on the day of the session. I accept check, cash, or Zelle.
THE INQUIRY
01.
On the day of the session, I will meet your family at your favorite park, a downtown location, in your backyard, or at a preferred outdoor location.
I will give you direction during the session but will also allow for candid moments! If the forecast calls for rain, I will contact you 24 hours before the scheduled shoot and make a plan. Beautiful images can still be made during overcast weather, but if it is raining, we will reschedule for another date with no extra fee.
THE SESSION
02.
I will email you a few preview images from your session within 72 hours of the session. After 3 - 4 weeks, you will receive a link to an online gallery. You may purchase prints through the online gallery and are free to share the images with friends and family.
